When deleting the EGR........

Can I remove the Intake Manifold Switching Valve and EGR Cooking Switching Valve and associated lines as seen in the following pic?

Just looking to get rid of excess stuff if it doesn't need to be there. Car is getting tuned so no worries about a CEL.
