Dangerous Break !!

vendredi 21 juillet 2017

i have been trying to narrow down a major break related safety issue to my son 04 Golf BEW 5Spd w 250K , New breaks all around, new rotors to the rear and front. Did bleed the break to all 4 wheels. Planing to flush completely the system. Need some thought as the break does not feel safe at all as i took it yesterday for a drive after he told me whats going on

Symptoms :

If you anticipate breaking to a red light ,stop sign ..etc breaks works as designed but they are tad less responsive compare to my other TDi's .

THE MAJOR CONCERN : if you are behind some one who immediately slam on their break or if you decided to slam the break momentarily to make a turn or maybe to avoid who knows what the pedal is so firm and the car wont STOP. \\// This can be easily duplicated as i discovered by slamming the break once then let go try to stop again then i can not push the pedal hard enough to stop the car but rather i can blow by my turn or the Stoping mark the pedal feels like i hit a wall. As i was driving yesterday i needed to pull in the gas station but i was going little hot so i attempted to stop and turn but no Luck so i kept on going

Is this classic symptoms or Break Booster Or Master cylinder ( which is highly doubt it since master will be spongy break )
