The front driver side window on our 01 Beetle is stuck in the down position, and in trying to disassemble it we can not move the window up. We have removed the interior panel plus all of the bolts and connectors on the inner panel, everything appears to be disconnected. Pushing the window up though the speaker opening it only lifts about half inch or or so, then it feels like trying to move a brick wall. What's going on? What is preventing the window from being pushed up manually?
