I'm sure this question has been asked but I could not readily find an answer. I am waiting for my settlement to be approved. I have purchased a new 2015 Jetta tdi - in the mean time I still drive my buyback 2010 tdi sportswagen for short trips. Last Sunday I was driving to church and a rock flew from a truck tire in front of me and hit my windshield. I didn't see any damage at the time but yesterday my wife noticed this very large crack creeping down the window. What should I do - get the window replace now or wait for my appointment and see what vw says?
