Have an 2006 Jetta TDI with 389,000 km on it, the exhaust system malfunction light comes on once a day and when it does it loses a lot of engine power for a while. The light will go off and the power comes back. Happens when first started, then improves, then comes back and when inceasing or reducing speed. Mechanics cannot figure it out, any thoughts?
