I took my 2008 beetle to get the AUX fixed, and when my father brought it back for me I found that the car wouldn't beep anymore when I locked my doors.
I happen to like the beep when I lock it, and would like to have it back.
There isn't anything wrong with the locks, everything is working fine, we just suspect that the dealership deactivated the beep when they worked on the car.
I'd prefer not to have to take it in and deal with the hassle or pay any more money, I was hoping there was something I could do myself to get the beep back again.
