Welding Axle Tubes To Center Section

I am doing a Dana 80 swap in my Ford and was thinking of welding my axle tubes to the center section. i have seen multiple people roll the center section on the Sterling and just dont want to have that happen on this 80. I am welding on an axle truss from Artec Industries and new leaf perches and was thinking while I am there I might as well weld the tubes.



I ask because I read alot of good and bad about doing it. How many of you have welded your tubes?
