Mk4 Shifter Noise

I removed/painted/replaced my 2005 Jetta interior.

I have now noticed a clunk in the shifter when going into 3rd or 4th.
The snick-snick or clunk only occurs in the 3rd to 4th motion. 1-2 is quiet.
I put the foam surround back in the shifter area of the console, every thing seems tight.

I didn't remove the shifter assembly when I took the trim out.

Any thoughts?

2005 Passat TDI 2.0

I need help!! I have a 2005 TDI Passat with a MAF engine error code. I tried replacing the MAF, the engine light came right back on. I checked the ground wire it looks good. When the MAF is connect the car runs like crap, black smoke, not power. If I disconnect the MAF, the engine runs great, no black smoke, great power. I tried 3 different MAFs, including one purchased directly from VW. I took it to two different shops, neither one could figure out whats going on, they told me to take it to VW, that's going to cost way to much. Any thoughts??

need help 09A transmission

So today I decided to replace all of my solenoids everything was going great till I tried to reinstall the pan. I had replaced the solenoids one by one, till I got to N90, I knew that I had to remove N88, N281, and N91 prior to removing N90. So I did and upon removing the solenoids a small bracket came off with on of the bolts, for the life of me I can't remember what bolt it goes on and what orenitation it goes back every thing I've tried the pan will not go back on right. "Vagaddict" chip for BEW mk4 - anyone tried it?

I see a Vagaddict brand complete ECU which says it is "immobilizer deleted" and is plug and play. Advertised on Ebay for my 2005 BEW Mk4 Golf. Has anyone tried one from this seller? Is it really possible to delete the immobilizer function from an ECU? Thanks

Early 2005 jetta tdi throttle position sensor question

Early 2005 jetta TDI BEW PD. Goes into limp mode. throttle position sensor is saying to reader that throttle position is all over the place then sticks on almost full throttle, then shuts down into limp mode. Meanwhile the throttle pedal is actually working perfect. How can the throttle sensor be reading all crazy but the engine be getting the proper message?

A7 TDI prior lease question

I've located a prior leased A7 TDI for sale. I've plugged the VIN into the portal as if I owned it, and the initial restitution offer is the full amount expected. Does this mean the prior lessee did not claim? If I bought would the A7, would I be eligible for the full restitution and possible buy back?

Just want to make sure I understand my options.
