Which Trans Fluid should I run???
So Got the truck back last night from getting a 47rh trans swapped in, i just have to finish up a few small things and it on the road. Biggest question i have is, What trans fluid should I put in it????
Ive always had manuals, so trans fluid is pretty foreign to me!!
Heard a lot of guys say cheaper is better, and run 50/50 Hydraulic fluid/ATF....
I have Fuchs Hydro by the 55 gal drum I can get for free, so that apealed to me a little. But being a full on built trans and a Higher HP truck, i really dont want to skimp and have it go out early on me!!!

6.7 build tips and questions
Looking to start building my truck a little. It's a 2008 i currently have the h&s with mcc tuning by Ryan Miliken. I'm wanting to do a small build on it, first of all my goal is to make a reliable daily driven truck. That being said I am in the process of getting a suncoast built 68rfe comp trans to replace my stock one aswell as starting off with a set of 100hp nozzles.
Looking for opinions on what other things I should invest in like head studs a drivable turbo that isn't super laggy.
Also looking for opinions on tuning. I have the h&s so I would like to stick with that for right now. I know efi can be better but I'd like to start with the h&s.
Now keep in mind while doing this I am going to do this right but am sticking to a budget. Anyone with input or any good used parts I am game and it's very appreciated.

Is It True Wade?
Did you get phucked on your new rail by the guy building it?? I saw something on Y.b. that you have hinted this.
If true, then I'm sorry to hear this and I know the road that you are headed.... Good luck.

My name is Al Jennings, I'm from Centra CA. Not a racer. Love big old DD powered 2 cycle buses. Mine is a 6-71 DD 2 stroke, blown, torboed, aftercooled, straight exhaust beast behind a RoadRanger 10 speed manual. Used to do 7.3 Fords, and it was fun. I decided I needed to go bigger, so here I am! I may be a misfit here (cuz my ride is a bus), but I love diesels, LOVE 7.3's and love car "guys" ("people"). We might all have some fun here. 72 years old and I've had a LOT of cars, trucks, diesels, race cars, tri 5 Chevys. Street raced early 40's straight 8 Buicks on the street back in the early 60's. Done lotsa fun stuff and always looking for a new twist on having the most fun you can have sitting down (DRIVING!!). Let's rock! Al
