12 valve charging issue

I was rewiring the fuel pump switch tonight, when a hot wire (straight from battery to relay) grounded out on the body. This caused the stereo to reset to default settings, the trip odometer reset, and now my alternator is only putting out 10.x volts, and dropping slowly. Measuring the alternator output off the back of it. I also smelled a hot glue gun smell for a couple minutes coming from the under the hood while truck was running.



Any one know if these are signs of something bigger, or all is good and I'll just need a new alternator?

Im looking for an he351 turbo. Its condition doesnt matter, becaues its geting sent to fleece to be built for a cheeta, just looking for a complete core that needa bearings or something like that.

viper blue paint with black down the center. Recent paint but truck has rust and has some damage to drivers side front fender and rear quarter. Dark tint on the windows, has newer seats out of a vp truck. Interior has been painted black. Has pillar gauges in it as well. Wheel and 35" tires are brand new. It has a buckstop front bumper that needs paint. Truck looks very sharp from 20feet away. Has fresh amsoil in both axles. All parts are with the truck to put it back together (radiator, intercooler, PS/Vacuum pump, starter, AC compressor, etc.). Also includes the other new headlight that is missing in the picture.

I've just got too many projects and kids activities going on and the pulling truck seems to take up my little free time I find. I'm sure this would make a fun truck for someone, my plans were a 250-300 hp setup while getting decent mileage. If someone wanted to buy the whole lot I would make a deal on all of it.

For those unaware, the two fastest pro teams will be running side by side at the NHRA Midwest Nationals in St Louis. Ok...that's a big deal. However, it's a gigantic thing for me.



My father passed away a week ago yesterday. He was an NHRA gas racer in M & I Gas in the late 60's until 75.



John Robinson has graciously agreed to place a little of dad's ashes in his parachute so my old man can have one last fast pass. Hoping that Dan Scheid will allow some in his as well. Hell....dad might be racing himself.



Cannot say thanks enough to my buddy John Robinson. This means the world to me, my brother and my mother.



My dad's car still exists....it was found about 10 years ago, restored and sold to a VW gasser collector in Scotland.

5" boost leak test plugs

Seeing if anyone would be interested in some 5" boost leak testers. These would obviously be for a turbo setup that has a 5" inlet or 5" intake, like most s400 kits or twin kits do. Pull the intake off and clamp this in place then use your air compressor and regulator to pressurize the system to where you want it. I made these up from some scrap materials laying around the shop. They are 1.5" tall and 5" in diameter. I have 4 of them.



If there is any interest, I would like to get $35 shipped for each.

7x.012 injectors

7X.012 injectors for 24v set to p-pump pop off, just back from getting cleaned, tested and popped from Lee at Contagious. I dont know how many miles, they were on my truck when i bought it, however i put > 5000 on them. Lee says they all checked out good.
