Post Solenoid Change Troubles.

vendredi 14 juillet 2017

Hello Tdi friends and Guru's
Finished a Solenoid replacement on my 04 bew with the 5spd auto trans, after letting it warm up and taking it for a ride around the block I fixed the original problem of the transmission not shifting while cold, But now it's shifting rather hard and my CEL came on after a short ride around the block.

01166- Engine torque Signal - 03-00 - No Signal.

Checking the engine module there was a different code

17911 - Load Signal from Alternator Term . DF
P1503- 000 - Implausible Signal
Freeze frame:
RPM 882/min
Torque: 54.0 Nm
Speed: 0.0 km/h
Load: 0.0%
Voltage: 13.91 V
Bin. Bits. 00101111
Load: 0.0%
(no units)

One thing I did notice on start up that my battery light Would flicker for a moment while after the car starts and then go away, And honestly that Voltage reading seems a bit Lower than what i'd consider normal. In other measure blocks on VCDS i've seen the voltage as low as 13.20.
during the solenoid change I DID loosen the ground wire that bolts onto the transmission to give more clearance to remove the valve pan, but i was sure to put that back and tighten that down really good.

As for the Engine torque Signal, it was never an issue before, but now its the only code coming up on the TCM. Ross tech says it could be faulty wiring to the ECU or Bad ECU coding...

Could I have knocked a wire lose/connector loose somewhere? or could this be a result of tampering with the ground wire to the transmission?
Any advice or ideas are much appreciated.
