2003 Jetta TDI GLS Wagon, 5 Speed, Gold, 281k Miles

Just completed final 5000 mile summer road trip, and regretfully must sell as major remodeling and construction projects require a truck. I am second owner of this car, which has spent its entire life in northern California. Last year of ALH engine and should provide many years of continued service. Interior very nice (no rips, tears, stains, or excessive wear), body good condition (scratches, etc commensurate with age, but no major dings or dents), zero rust, everything works, A/C blows cold. Purchased from original local owner September, 2011 with 142K miles; numerous road trips during my six years of ownership. Consistent 48 MPG during mixed use.
Extensive preventive maintenance history by former mechanic including:
Complete front suspension overhaul January, 2014 at 202k miles:
-inner and outer CV joints overhauled with new boots
-installed new front wheel bearings
-installed Energy Suspension Prothane control arm bushings
-installed new ball joints
-installed new front strut/spring assemblies
-installed new rear shocks
-4 wheel alignment
Replaced MAF sensor and EGR valve at 248k miles
Replaced timing belt and water pump at 248k miles
Replaced front and rear brake pads and rotors at 249k miles
New Goodyear All Season Radial Tires at 266k miles
All basic maintenance performed on schedule with synthetic oil
Monsoon Stereo with Crutchfield audio input adapter
New unused spare parts include:
