Can someone please look at these pics and tell me what state my 99.5 ALH Jetta cam is in? Can I use this one for another few months while I save $ for Frank's? If I weren't considering an upgrade I would throw a stock one in next week.

As far as I know everything is stock on the engine. I got this ALH from the junkyard and put it in my 79 Rabbit. The donor had ~193k miles and I've put about 9k on it now since the swap in December. It's slightly slower than a coworker's 99.5 ALH Jetta, but his car's PO may have done something to it, it has a capped fitting on the IC piping by the fuel filter. My car is getting 49mpg with the 020, when the 1.5 (turbo'd) was getting 46. I've used Delo 5w-40 and since I ripped the oil pan off, Rotella 5w-40. I didn't drive it 10 feet after I hit that "pothole," pulled over and got a tow. On the donor, the intake was completely clogged, the vnt stuck, and a quart of oil in the intercooler, but that's all fixed now. Don't know the donor's service history. Thanks!
