I'm looking for some wisdon and advice. I was trying to track down electrical gremlins on a much neglected 04' PD sedan I bought from the east coast. Based on the information from this site, I checked the three grounds under the battery tray. There was fair bit of rust and one of the ground lugs/connector was corroded in place. After spraying things with PB blaser I was able to get two of the nuts off but one of them sheared flush. I drilled out the remaining lug.
Can I use a sainless steel stud, washer, nut combo to replace the ground or do I need brass for corrosion resistance and conductivity?
