Can't even see what the current EGR Adaptation is

G'day,

I purchased a Ross-Tech cable and when accessing it via VCDS, everything first appears fine.

Then I go to the engine section, however I do not get the opportunity to login. The Login button stays greyed and eventually changes to "Coding II" also now greyed. Below the VCDS logo is "Open Controller" in all screens.

I get asked to select a channel however the list of available channels does not contain anything about EGR, so I cannot even see what it currently is.

Is there something I've missed?
