as Murphy would have it, three days before I leave for my vacation I'm getting a check engine light with these codes…
I install some Malone performance chips, and a few days later, I'm getting these codes:
00553 mass airflow sensor (G70) 48-10 Dash supply voltage – intermittent
01050 glow plug monitoring, 35–10 intermittent
00560 shareware Version to Decode all DTCs 17-10 please register/activate – intermittent
All this said, the car seems to be running just fine, with no noticeable difference before the CEL came on.
My VAGCOM set up
is the freebie, on an ancient laptop, I don't know if that's what this shareware comment is coming from, but I've not seen that before. I also haven't used this VAGCOM in several years, And wondering if something expires with it.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
