I need help!! I have a 2005 TDI Passat with a MAF engine error code. I tried replacing the MAF, the engine light came right back on. I checked the ground wire it looks good. When the MAF is connect the car runs like crap, black smoke, not power. If I disconnect the MAF, the engine runs great, no black smoke, great power. I tried 3 different MAFs, including one purchased directly from VW. I took it to two different shops, neither one could figure out whats going on, they told me to take it to VW, that's going to cost way to much. Any thoughts??
