I have replaced my driver side REAR door with one that has no rust. I am having trouble aligning the door. There is some adjustment in the door where it bolts to the hinges and the striker on the body can move a little. After repeated tries in hot weather we gave up...I had help. We've got it closing but it's not near aligned with the front door. I have the hinges that came on the new to me door, should I use those? Does anyone have any tips to doing this job or even better a definitive DIY page? Thanks in advance.
Also, the new door came with two plugs... old door had one harness, one plug. NONE of the windows roll down if the main plug of new door is plugged into receiver on the car. They work fine if it's unplugged. Am I going to have to put the guts of my old door into the new?
