I am a new new TDI owner of a 2004 Jetta. I bought it off a guy that did nothing but change the oil for 120k miles. When I bought the car it was low on power, and after pulling codes I determined it was a faulty injector harness. Having 200k miles on it, I towed it home to not risk blowing the timing belt on the way home.
I bought all the parts I need off of ID Parts, which is a great company btw, and replaced timing belt kit, water pump, thermostat and neck, accessory belt and tensioner, Coolant and oil change. I pulled the valve cover to replace the injector harness to replace out and I found the injector 4 clip not seated in the injector...score! Clicked it back into place, and it fired right now and it runs great! All in I'm into this car for $1800. I have been reading on this forum for months, and it is a great resource!
I got home from work yesterday and rolling 200k miles on the way home, and I noticed the sweet smell of coolant from under my hood. Could someone tell me the part number of this coolant hose?
It goes back behind the engine into the abyss, and it looks like it'll be fun to replace...
