Early 2005 jetta tdi throttle position sensor

Are there two throttle position sensor on a 05 jetta tdi? My pedal is operating the engine throttle fine, but the reader is showing the throttle position all over the place and then sticks on 95 and the car then goes into limp mode. What is telling the reader the wrong info?
