My 1.6 tdi had a problem about a month ago where if I was driving up hill it would go over 90 degress to about 100.
The car felt a bit jerky to drive and assumed it was in a DPF regen but the tempreature would rise whilst I had drove up hill to where I live
I had replaced the water pump and done about 500 miles since with no problems
The fans usually run most times as I use the car for commuting mainly on about 60 mile round trip, however the car felt jerky today and again when coming home it crept up to around 100 degress. No fan had came on at all even when I switched off the car and no loss of coolant
Anybody have a problem like this before? Any help appreciated.
