MK4 TDI died, would restart, now won't do that. Will crank

2001 MK4 5 speed Jetta
Cam, timing belt and some other repairs about 20K miles ago. Timing belt is on and tight. Work done by the mobile TDI guy from Missouri. 10MM pump, rebuilt at the same time.

Turns over, won't start. Was driving it and it died, I restarted it and drove a bit further when it died again. Then it would crank and not start. So I left it thru the night, came back and tried the next day and it drove home where it died in my driveway.

No glow plug light, but I don't think I've ever seen one before (never noticed one). Just for giggles I swapped relay 109 from another TDI I have. No change

No fuel in the clear light of the pump. I tried pulling both hoses, tried running it from a jar of diesel fuel *like when I did the Diesel Purge*.

Won't even try to start. Could I have an electrical issue with the injection pump? Or possibly something else? I really don't know what else to check.

No CEL and no codes other than an ABS code.
