Fuel filter housing broke need help.

I broke the center little pillar thing in the fuel filter housing doing a filter change. I need a new filter housing but I wasn't sure if this one would work. My car was made before 04-31-2006 and uses the old filter housing and filters. Would this filter housing bolt up and work fine even though it's for cars made after 04-31-2006?

If it will bolt up and work fine I'll get it and just buy the newer filters for next time. Wasn't sure if anyone has tried this or not.
