2006 JETTA TDI 1.9 SEDAN. 202,000 miles
Had a new condenser installed last summer. About a month ago we were sitting in the car while it was idling and the AC quit working, warm air. Left the store and as soon as we hit 35-40 MPH ice cold air started blowing out.
Yesterday I popped the hood, turned the AC on high and let the car idle for 10 minutes or so and the cooling fans never turned on. Took out my multi meter and check the voltage of the harness plug that connects to the fan plug, 12+ volts. All the fuses are good.
Did some research and it looks like the fan brushes get stuck from use and being old. I don't want to try and repair them, just want to buy the new fans. Before I order them, is there anything else I should check? Also, any good websites to order Quality fans at a good price ?
Thank you!!!
