I know it could be a number of issues, but is there a "most common items" list of why I'd see tiny specks on the dipstick? The Golf otherwise runs fine, no problems whatsoever. I don't know the history of the camshaft or if it was ever replaced. I'm thinking of getting an oil analysis come next oil change to be sure.
