Hey guys I just purchased a 05 Golf BEW. Got the car on the cheap. PO stated that the tandem pump was leaking diesel in oil and ruined seals in turbo. So he said I would need to replace the turbo and tandem pump. I have not had a chance to investigate much since getting home but I have checked the oil and it was way over full. Not sure what is going on here but I am going to change that in am to get fresh oil in there. When I was getting the car off the dolly I noted it had hard brakes, so no vacuum from tandem pump. Basically my questions is has anyone every experienced anything like this and what would be the first thing I should be looking for. By the way the motor does run.
