I have a 2004 vw Jetta tdi with BEW engine with 205,xxx miles on it. I have intermittent boost when I drive it. The garage said it could be the waste gate or turbo it self. I didn't check the mass air flow or mass air pressure sensors yet. But if it's not the sensors is it worth it to replace the turbo on it, and will the new turbo cause the engine to self destruct? Thanks in advance!
