I'm trying to get rid of the sub box I built and the subwoofer that goes with it. It's an 8" Infinity Reference Sub-woofer and the box is made to fit in the drivers side wheel well in the trunk. I CNC routed the panel to fit and drilled/threaded the bracket there to retain the box. These pics are from when I installed it so the fabric looks a bit dirty now, but it could easily be replaced with more contact adhesive and a few minutes time/fabric of your choice.
The sub is enough to add some good bottom end and would even shake the rear view mirror if I cranked the bass up on my radio. The amp I was using was probably just enough power, if not under powered. It was never over driven and still sounds good.
It's been just getting in the way since I don't have my Jetta anymore. I'd take $30 or a bottle of something good. I really don't care, just didn't want to throw out the custom box when someone else could get some use out of it. I really don't want deal with shipping it so for now I'm only doing Cinci pick up.
