Just wanted to ask for some advice. I purchased this Scirocco last February as my first diesel car when it only had 3000 Km. I started noticing that it would shudder when trying to accelerate on high gears from 4th onwards at around 1500 + rpm. It wouldn't shudder if my revs are above 2000.
A few weeks back it has gotten worse and it would shudder when ever I was going from 3rd gear to 4th while it was building up throttle from 1300 rpm onwards but would go away again after 2000 Rpms. Whenever I'm on 4th gear it would shudder at around 1800 rpms even at a constant speed.
I brought it to my dealer and they replaced the flywheel under warranty. After testing it again it seems to shudder again whenever I change gears and build up speed and throttle when shifting at 2000 rpms.
I noticed the shuddering is not as bad if I change gears between 2200-2800 rpms after reading online but my worry is fuel consumption. Am I better off just keeping the habit of shifting gear at higher rpms or is there a clear problem that it shouldn't shuddering at lower rpms?
