I just purchased a 2006 Jetta Tdi from a friend.
I am new to driving stick and feel like I may have damaged the transmission or the clutch. I have done some research and feel like this could be a problem with the Flywheel or TOB. If the clutch is in the knocking sound goes away and everything sounds normal. I will take it to the shop next week but I want to make sure I'm not making thinthings worse by driving it. Any ideas? Or suggestions?
