So the beetle has always been louder than the Jetta. I was talking to someone and they said that since running the car on straight diesel purge quieted it down that it's prob something in the pump. Could something being bad in the pump cause poor fuel economy? Just trying to get an idea of what in there can cause that. With vcds the fuel temps seem to read normal but I don't know what else to look at.
It says fuel consumption of around 0.9-1l/hour at idle when the other is 0.5-0.6. Both Malone tuned.
