Selling my 2001 Golf 2 door TDI. $2,200. It has been a great car to me, purchased new by my dad, who I bought it from in 2005. PM performed religiously, records available. I'd drive this thing across the country today if I had the time. We recently purchased a larger SUV for family reasons, and as much as I hate to sell it, I don't really have a need for this one anymore.
297,000 miles and going STRONG.
The good- body overall in very good shape, manual, PM performed regularly, I've always used Mobil Delvac 1 oil in it, good winter tires/wheels, alloy rims (tires need replaced) for summer use.
The bad- rust on right front fender, paint on front of hood is bubbling, it has been since I purchased it from my dad
-AC does not work, I suspect the compressor
-Needs battery
-Yes, it has dents
-Interior is generally in good shape, but the upholstery on the door arm rests are beginning to sag
