All the threads I want to post on are closed, so maybe someone can chime in.
I replace my light duty steering once every 40k it seems like since I have 37's.
I don't want to take the taper out of my knuckles to do heims and they would rust anyways.
So does anyone know what I would need to do to get the 98-99 HD 1-ton steering to fit my 97?
I believe the tie rods at the knuckles are different tapers, and the tie rod at the pitman arm is a different spline (and possibly a different taper).
I found the whole 98-99 steering linkage for $240 + shipping

I just need to know what else I need. I'm going on a bit of a trip at the end of the month and I'd like to get this on there before then. (redoing my track bar with new heims, AGR's biggest PS pump, new gear box, lines, and hydroboost, and Rokmen adjustable lower control arms).
Let me know if you can help me out. Thanks
