Nice rust free housing, the truck came from Louisiana. Has 235k miles. All was good till I put Walmart gear lube in it and 5k miles later the gears started howling. I drove this rear end personally for 30k miles without any noise or issue till the fluid change. Has good posi unit and I unbolted everything, it wasn't torched out. I assume it needs ring and pinion and I can get brand new Dana Spicer gear set for $250 or you can get your own. Has drum brakes. Its out of a 97 2500 2wd truck with cummins/auto. Asking $300.
