I have intentions of swapping a ford and have started the search for the roller for the project. I'm going to be pretty picky about what I get as I plan to keep the truck for eternity when it's done, until I'm bored with it.
What I'm looking for:
2004-2007
Four door Lariat 4x4
6.0,5.4 gas or v10 (doesn't really matter on that)
Preferably zf6 but auto can be replaced
F250/f350 single, short wheel base
Around or less than 150k on body
Also looking to spend $5000.
Has anyone else had better luck looking in certain places for these or is it just a lucky find?
I have a dealership I have connections at on the look out and been tearing up craigslist. Feedback is appreciated.
