I was asked to reseal a VE pump. I went through it last weekend, the guys (co-workers) installed it this weekend. It won't run and by all accounts won't build head pressure at the nozzles.
Things I can think of to check:
-Manual fuel shut down clocked wrong (I marked it, doesn't mean it went back exactly)
-The sleeve for the sleeve metering installed backwards.
-The cam plate/pump is timed 180 out.
What else should I check?
It is atleast trying to deliver fuel. Which I guess is good in the fact that it is overcoming the DV's. I haven't gotten to look at it yet. I have a leak from the shutdown shaft. Not sure why unless it's an Oring mismatch.
