Hunting season is coming up fast. I need to put together a load for the lady's rifle. Top choices are a 100gr partition and 80gr ttsx. I've really become a believer in barnes bullets. Flat out impresses me. With 99-100% weight retention it seems to accomplish the same job a larger/heavier bullet does. This is for elk. Yes, I know it isn't the most ideal round for it. Also know it doesn't take a magnum to put an animal in the freezer. Anyone have some first hand experience?
