1974 F350 CC dually Cummins conversion

I have a 1974 F350 crew cab dually 2wd that I am going to but a 5.9/nv4500 in and I was curious what you guys thought would be better putting the engine and trans in the old truck or putting the old body on a dodge chassis. I already have a 12valve out of a blue bird bus sitting in the barn for it but I found a good deal on a 99 2wd with a 5speed. Didn't know if the modern brakes and everything would be way worth it or not. Thanks
