Is there any certain way to tell if the push rods are all the way down in the lifters without pulling the cover? Put the head on, and everything else on the side of the engine before putting the push rods in . Have a couple with tension on them and I can't for the life of me remember how they were when it came apart. Should there be a gap in all of them with the valve lash adjusters backed all the way off? At tdc I have a couple that are still compressing the valves. Sounds like a silly question, but rather know now, than find out the hard way! :nail:
