Starting to develop a leak at my rear freeze plug so I'm going to go ahead and rig up a bypass using a 50psi Aquatrol relief valve and stainless braided hose with AN fitting.
I will definately be purchasing a block off plate, but I would like to know your opinions regarding the following options:
1) solid plate in the back, and use the 5/6 freeze plug for the bypass, or
2) threaded plate, and use the rear freeze plug port for the bypass.
I'm thinking option 1 will be an easier install with the engine still in the truck, but I don't know if the 5/6 plug bypass setup will hold for the long run. I'm also not sure how easy it would be to get that rear freeze plug out, but if it's worth it I'm not opposed to trying it. Let me know what yall think.
