So I recently bought a '03 F550 Reg Cab 12' flatbed, 6.0l 6spd 4x4, with 115k miles. Truck was rolled Leaving no good body. Picked it up for a $1000 so I can't go wrong.
I have a '75 F150 Ex-Cab 2wd Long box that was actually bought for parts to rebuild my '76 Highboy (high school truck I bought back after 10 years) so I have a good cab Needing a home.
So my current plans are to pull the '03 body and bed off, get the frame checked, then swap the '75 body over to the '03 F550 Frame. By the end I hope to have it all look factory, and everything from the '03 functional.
What's everyone's thoughts?
