have had smarty off my old 24 valve sitting the shop for about a year. went to plug it into a friends truck tonight and backlght lights up, and black bars across the top of screen come on and stay on, nothing else. pushed buttons with no change, cylced key a couple of times and un plugged, re plugged in the smarty. any clues? if it was still vin locked to my old truck (which is p pumped now) wouldnt it say vin locked? any help appreciated, thanks!
