Been building my son's first gen for the last year in the shop. Complete body off make over. Truck is all back together and been trying to start it. The truck was running when we drove it into the shop and nothing was done to the engine, only a complete body swap. After tracing out all the wiring issues the truck had with lights, turnsignals, etc...
So anyway, we tried starting it the other day, and it wouldn't fire off. We bled the injectors and got it to start with a little bit of pedal. Ran for about 20 seconds then dies. I've gone over all the wiring, we replaced the two rubber hoses at the tank when the bed was off. Since we've tried to start it, we've replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump. Both with the same result as above. I can bleed the injectors and finally get it running, it runs for about 20 seconds then dies.
We put 15 gallons of new fuel in the truck as the tank was low before we tried starting it.
Any ideas?
