Trans issues

I finished my swap up a little over a month ago and have been driving the truck daily since then without any issues. I was doing some testing on Friday without any issues, did a 2wd boost launch to check spool up time, did a little bit more driving and then parked it. Drove it again on Saturday, still no issues. Go for on drive Sunday evening and have an immediate 3-4 upshift after second gear. OD and TC lock up are still working, just coming in way too early.

So I do a little testing. My OD switch is no longer controlling anything. It doesn't matter if it's locked out of OD, it still goes into OD. I don't actually feel the converter locking like I usually do, but I'm pretty sure it is still locking based on the load it puts on the motor. My manual lockup switch still works though, and when using it, I can physically feel it locking, which leads me to believe my problem is electrical.

I plug the computer in and get a shift solenoid A code. I've had issues with solenoids in the past and at this point I was pretty confident it was the TC lockup and OD solenoid. So I got a new one and went ahead and replaced the governor pressure solenoid while I was in there. Button everything up, fire it up, go for a drive, and still have the same issue.

So I dig a little deeper. I pull the APPS sensor apart and test the voltage off of it. The voltage tag was gone, but while moving the throttle there was a smooth voltage increase. Nothing erratic like a bad APPS sensor would indicate. Buttoned it back up, did a APPS reset and went for another drive. Still has the same issues.

At this point, the only other thing I can think of being the culprit is the PCM , but I'm not entirely sure how to test that theory. Does anyone have any advice on what could be causing my problems? I plan to call Lavon on Tuesday, but in the meantime I've got some time to do some troubleshooting.
