I wasn't in the stand 45 minutes this evening and this fella came bumbling down through the beans. No idea where he came from, I looked up and he was about 100yds out. Followed the sprayer tracks in the beans that happened to go right by my stand at 35yds away.
This evening wasn't very nice, weather wise. Both my dad and brother didn't want to go because it was 15-20mph winds and starting to drizzle and rain. It's funny because I told my dad on the phone "Ya know, some big deer are killed in nasty weather." :lolly:
It was also the first night I've sat in this stand.
I'm guessing he's a mid-to-high 130" deer. He was over 200lbs field dressed, maxed our scale out. Passing the smaller ones pays off.
