Greg Hogue strikes again...

So I'll start by saying I'm not the type of person to put someone in blast but after this little deal and not being able to get in touch with Greg, I'm done with it. I have had maxspool dual springs and he Pushrods in my truck for almost 2 years and I decided to buy a cam in April when I had the engine out doing a complete overhaul. When it went back together I went back with a new s472 with a steed manifold. Pulled the vp44 and put a p-pump on it and I also had converted to a auto from manual and installed a Valair/DPC converter with a stock stall. When I got done it spooled surprisingly well in my opinion for being what it was. Over time it started to get hard to spool to the point where it wouldn't at all and I had to use nitrous to get boost up to stage in. I had ran the overhead just under 10 times and it was loose every time... I didn't other 2 and 2 together. I ended up putting a set of compounds on from BD Diesel and the truck ran a best of 11.73@115. Well a month ago I went to the track and it went 12.04,12.07,12.52 and 12.74 and I called it quits and went home. Unfortunately the engine started knocking on the way home... Now I'm the type of person when I say I'm going to do something, I will do it. At first when this started to unravel I was told by Greg "Yep that's what happens when a cam fails. I'll send you a new cam, lifters and bearings". Now considering this cam failure has ruined everything in the engine I was pretty upset about it that and had decided I would take what I could get. Now I'm being told "You know, I've talked to a lot of people and this wasn't a cam failure it was a oiling problem. There's no way the cam failed but I'll send you a new cam and lifters anyways just to try and help you out". I've been waiting for about a month now and have received nothing and can get ahold of them maybe once a week if I'm lucky. I'm just about done holding my tongue...

Apparently oil softens metal because Rockwell tests show the 2 lobes on the back side that isn't worn to be as soft as 40 and as low as 38 on the worn lobes on the c scale when it should be 56-58...
