E-wastegateing

jeudi 16 octobre 2014

Seems like there has been a little bit of a stink about certain manifolds e-gate configurations not keeping the two banks completely separate. Some have reported better seat of pants driving when switching back to a completely separated bank manifold.

Since there seems to be a problem there, would there be an issue with only e-gating one side of a non-gated configured manifold?

What are the downsides with only gating one bank? Obviously were going to assume that the single gate on one bank would still flow enough to keep manifold charger from overspeeding.

I think the big disadvantage of the internal gates that only dump one side is that they just won't flow enough to keep the charger where it needs to be on the map .

Also would there be any inherent problems setting up a compound configuration like this compared to a single?
