Guys I am looking for some advice on a turbo selection. I build a very mild truck last year to run in our local 2.6 class. This year I am taking it to the next step to be a little more competitive. From my last years experience I seemed to run a lot more fairs that had a workstock class and a open class then a 2.6 rule....why would I build a 2.6 truck? So my question is what would be the best "Reasonable" turbo I can purchase to have a open cover on it and possibly purchase a 2.6 cover if I did want to pull a local series. I know I know...can have it all.
94 12v
5 speed comp clutch
Engine is all balanced
All ARP bolts
hamiliton 2.6 cam fly cut pistons
165 valve springs push rods
cam bearings
Fire ringed
Head ported and polished plenum removed
5X18 dual feed injectors at them moment
Air to water
850cc pump 5k gov
Air dog 200
488s Air locker up front and 35 inch All terrains
Looking to get a turbo to make this run. I have not bought manifold yet but plan on getting a Steed soon as I find out if I am going T4 or T6.
Also I am looking to get a dampener that has timing marks but still keeps the pulley since I am sill running a alternator.
Thank you for the help.
